The purpose behind this was to emphasize the clip by showing it in the upper right hand corner where the sun beam was shining.

Filling the Frame

My purpose of this photo was to present the typical silo from a different perspective. I accomplished this by instead of shooting the whole line of silos, I chose to focus in between the silos and shoot it at an angle looking up.

My intent behind this photograph was to emphasize the vertical lines throughout the photograph and create resistance so that the eye will explore the image. The railroad tracks, railroad beams and the smokestack all are vertical. Even the railroad crossing sign is mostly vertical.

My purpose behind this photo was to have several different lines to create diagonal tension. I accomplished this by shooting the photograph at a specific angle to show the independent different lines that move diagonally across the frame.
